Today we say Dr Dahl for a lyme vaccine for our 5 month old golden retriever . Dr Dahl seemed to be in a hurry and didn't care to examine my puppy. However, I was charged $25 for an "exam fee". Even though my puppy had no exam done at all by the Vet. When I asked why he wasn't examined, his response was "an exam wasn't necessary" Really? So a 5 month old Golden Retriever who is still growing and going through changes doesn't need an exam just to make sure these critical stages he is going through don't have any health concerns? Every Vet I have gone through in the past has always done a basic exam at the very least. I have no problem paying the exam fee if my dog is actually getting an exam. Given my experience with this clinic, it seems this vet puts time and money before my dogs best interest.
I travel from Grand Forks to bring my dogs to Park River Veterinary clinic because they have been the best value as well as some of the most caring people I have ever met. I have had dogs my whole life and have been to a number of vets and they are literally the whole package.
Dr Dahl has been the best vet for all of our animal needs both large animal and our childrens cats and dog. we have total confidence in this clinic. Always respectful and the best!
I've been taking my animals to see Doc Dahl for years. I trust him to always do what's in the best interest for my pets. And unlike some other Veterinarians that I have had to see in the past, Doc has always been quick to suggest taking one of my animals to another clinic, if he felt that we could get better test results or imaging, etc, due to other practices having different equipment.
